I love taking long exposure scapes of rushing water - whether it be of ocean waves, streams, or waterfalls.  But around this time of year in the Northeast, the beaches and coastlines are lined with beach-goers and sun bathers, basking in the summer sun and enjoying all things summertime! So over the past few weeks, I've been avoiding the occupied coastlines and opting for more lightly-traveled state parks, in search of long exposure opportunities. 
 

The first image of this series was taken at the little-known Campbell Falls in New Marlborough, Massachusetts;  the second image was captured at Macedonia Gorge cascades in Macedonia Brook State Park near Kent, Connecticut; and the third image was captured at Moss Glen Falls in Granville, Vermont.  Happy Summertime Shooting!!
