The Practice of "Seeing Wide Open"

When I acquire a new lens I usually spend countless hours with it, using it exclusively for quite some time while testing its strengths and limitations.  For those that know me and have viewed some of my work, it's easy to see that I LOVE shooting with wide open apertures.  In fact, I even love shooting landscapes wide open, which seems to be an uncommon practice.  I'll admit, it isn't for everyone and certainly not for every application, but I love it!  All images in this post were captured with my new Sigma 50mm 1.4 lens, and all were shot wide open.

Thanks for viewing!!
